Famous Last Words : I shan't be having of this!
Where it not for being able to apparate Tamika did not know how she might have been able to survive living in such a dull and disgustingly Muggle village. Ianto of course was out, he seemed to take all sorts of pleasure in never being home for which Tamika was glad to have him out of her hair for a few hours so she could read the latest package to arrive from her writing circle, where it not for the monthly roll of parchment containing the latest volumes of 'Cassia the Muggle', 'The Dark Lords Servant' and of course her favourite, the feedback for her last piece 'Tamsal Blackhorn and the Plauge Infested Vermin' which had proved to be quite popular for it's chilling account of revenge against a unsuspecting party of Muggles and creatures alike. Stretched out on her bed she let out a little cackle of glee, proud of the way her friends had said her writing had improved while on her holiday. If only they knew the truth! Why they would not believe at all that she, Tamika Parker had visited a Muggle House and would indeed be living in one if she had not put her foot down and made 'improvements' to this place her brother had insisted on inhabiting.
Reading all the material took up most of the afternoon and left Tamika with more questions then when she begun. It seemed that the other girls had started reading a new series of 'cult' books about moons.. or nights.. to do with a teenage Muggle who was said to have the power to make vampires sparkle. The girls said it was such a laugh and very romantic and so while Tamika knew that Vampires where nothing but creatures deserving to be killed on sight Tamika was loth to be outside of the circle of what was popular. If it was simply a matter of a Muggle writer Tamika could easily wait for tomorrow where she could purchase a copy after work. Instead she had to think, she had no Muggle money and even her supply of Galleons where very low. How it was that Ianto managed to always seem to have money whenever he wanted baffled poor Tamika completely. Eventually she realised she would have to visit a library, surely Muggles would have such a thing? Tamika rushed to the parlor ( really the lounge room ) and searched for the tome that she had learnt was some kind of summoning book by the way Ianto would use it along with some strange Muggle device to make food arrive to their door. But one could not summon a entire library! Instead Tamika flicked though the pages at random until she eventually came to one that said Library in bold writing. That would do she decided and so half a hour later she had changed into her day clothes and was looking around what she had been told was a Library.
Clearly there was some kind of mistake, there was windows, and newspapers and brightly coloured magazines.. even those strange box contraptions that Muggles seemed so fond of.. 'Television' Ianto had called them and books.. though not as many as she had been expecting. Looking around Tamika realised with horror that the library was infected with old people... and somewhere in the back corner she could hear the sound of children. Like everything else Tamika had come across it seemed that the Muggles had tried to build Libraries and as always gotten it wrong! Unable to admit that she had made a mistake Tamika walked further into the Library only to have a magazine catch her eye for having what looked like Fifi LaRoux on the cover. Picking it up Tamika noticed that the cover changed from 'Cosmic' to 'Low Tide Fly Fishing Weekly, Issue 32' when she turned it from side to side. There must have been a Wizarding section right in front of her eye? But where was it? Tamika was about to give up and head out when she noticed the rest of the writing on the magazine 'How to Make Him do Your Every Desire in 5 Easy Steps(page 12)', 'SEX, a Witches Guide Your Husband Won't Tell You About' blushing deeply Tamika felt all eyes on her as she drew her eyes away from the barely dressed figure of 'France's International Woman of Mystery Exposed' and tried to decide if she should a: flee, b: hide it or what she really wanted to do c:.. read every single word of the magazine and any other ones she could find.
