Silencio
Silencio is a Australian Wrock (Wizard Rock) band formed in 1993 by school friends Marcus and Nathan Wright, cutting a name for themselves in the Melbourne and local pub scene they stopped touring in 1995 after the lead singer was cursed but remained together until 1997 when Guitarist Nathan Wright left Australia to study overseas.
In 2008 they reformed to play a one off protest gig as part of a rally to stop the ministry interference of local schools performing as 'The Banned' they returned to their old name and did their first shows in 2010 including a small one off set by Nathan and Marcus on the newcomers stage at the Glastonbury Festival.
Due to the Nathan Wright being overseas the band have been in mostly hiatus in 2011 however they did manage to get together for another show at Glastonbury and where interviewed on WWBN by Cherry Clinger.
In December 2011 they released their first E.P. titled 'The Cosmic Goat E.P.'
