Dear Marty,
So much I hope that you do not think that I have forgotten your gift, alas how I wish to open and write every secret that does trouble dreams and ruin whatever hope I can ever lead towards a happy ending to my tale.
I have been abroad, details of which I cannot tell even to you and forgive my wishes that you do not concern or alarm yourself for I am most well and resting with a clear head for what seems the longest time.
I have yet to see Dominic but my time has been taken by the honorable Clevon Braisher, a most charming man he insisted on inviting Dominic, yourself and I to witness France vs the United States in Quidditch at the upcoming Wizarding World Games as a honored guest to the English Minister for Magic himself. While I do understand if you do not wish to partake, there would no doubt be much attention put onto you and one would be required to wear dress robes for the occasion I would very much wish to have a friendly face and Dominic has spoken that you have been very keen to learn of the Wizarding World after all.
There is so very much to do and organise, I feel most refreshed from all the trouble of last year. One must admit that partly my absence was to let my name and face fade from the minds of those in America, it does not do one in my position to become too well known at any one place and time when I fear there are forces who would wish harm to the status-quo so to speak.
I hope this finds you well,
With Fondness,
Fifi LaRoux

Dear Fifi,
It is good to see your entry. I had not given up hope that you would one day use this gift. I knew it would be in your own time. I am glad you have.
I doworry fret have some concern for your safety when you are off and running on assignments. It is impossible not to care what happens to you but I also realize that you are the best at what you do. It now provides much happiness to hear you are currently resting and feeling well.
I have recently heard of Mr. Brasher during my studies for Level 2 NEWTs and he seems to be a rather interesting person. While I cannot understand why he would honor me with such an invite, I humbly accept and look forward to witnessing the wizarding games.
In a rather interesting coincidence, I am currently in London packing to return home tomorrow. I came over for a few days to watch some of the International Quidditch matches to take a few days off and relax. The games were... interesting? Still a bit confused on the whys and wherefores of it all but it was a nice change.
May you continue to stay safe and well.
Fondly,
Marty
